Join us at historic Mechanics Hall for an evening of jazz and more: Worcester-based vocalist Lydia Fortune will present a cappella vocal performances of 1930s blues tunes and dramatic readings from Zora Neale Hurston's novel THEIR EYES WERE WATCHING GOD; acclaimed jazz trio Lewis Porter (piano), Terri Lyne Carrington (drums), and John Lockwood (bass) will present jazz tunes from the 1930s and 1940s.
